Thank you Mr John for the updates!

Mavis

I am sure glad you gave update on Star and Sky. They are both made it through their first year. I feel like they have passed a huge milestone. They sure are of good blood. They got booted from their nest too early, and with the help of L and J...survived the odds. I'm so proud they are doing good. Would love to see them again. Would also love to know about some of the other eaglets in their study. Is there any way we can connect with the ppl doing the study? Would love to submit questions for them to answer.

Thanks, Mr. John.

I was just thinking about Star & Sky. Thanks for the updates. Can't wait for the naming contest. Sure be glad when this wind & rain goes away!

Carol C

I just love the way Liberty comes in to tell Justice it's my turn!! Talks a little then just pushes him off. So fun to watch these 2.

Chris

This is a family affair at dinner time. Must work fast before the rains come again.

Justice brought the fish but Liberty won't move. So he's just gonna feed himself for now. Maybe I missed a feeding, been busy.

Katy J

Lib gets up and take his fish, he fly's off. Now the kids get some fish too.

Wow, when I tuned in earlier this afternoon both eagles were at the nest and they were very wet. Now, I checked in again in time to see them both there. One was eating a fresh fish very vigorously!!!! The one sitting on the "babies" finally decided enough was enough….hahaha….and got up. I was so happy to see all 3 little heads start moving around and ready for dinner. So amazing how both parents protect the little ones during the bad weather!!!

Katy J

I didn't refresh before posting. Now I see Chris posted the previous meal.
All tucked back in.

Nancy Grider

I have yet to be able to determine which one is Justice and which one is Liberty…..any help?

Katy J

Size tells me when they're wet, Liberty is bigger. When dry, Liberty has a reverse U on throat in the white feathers.
She maybe happy and content, but she looks miserable, rain brings rainbows.

Carol C

Poor Liberty. She really does a good job protecting the kids.

Carol C

Good morning. Lib looks dried out. And no rain for awhile. Thank goodness!!

JC

Good morning Carol and everyone...yes the rain is over, but the wind will persist all day...Liberty looks good this morning and the nest will dry out some today....with the all day wind..
Little ones were fed a little while ago and all are tucked back under Mom for awhile..

Joyce

Good Morning from the Sierras. Expecting another rain & snow front tonight here. Glad to see the videos . Watched a feeding yesterday. Libby looks great. Keeping her trio warm & cozy.

Joyce

Thanks Chris for those videos. Especially the bonker one!

RL ML

Came on and went to replay. Little ones peeping out even before it got light. Up and feeding before the cams went to day view. Justice flew in to help and later Liberty took off. Funny take off, it looked like she just went straight up like a helicopter. Just spot checking the rest of the replay at least 2 more times they were being fed. Right now Liberty back on the nest and no little ones peeping out so they must be satisfied.

Looks like Val is out of the bole, at first I thought is was a fish.

Judith H

Now Crabbie joined Val out of the bole, C opened her beak as if to bite Val, Val Bonked her and down she went.

Carol C

Lib is having a hard time keeping the kids under her. I saw where Val got out. UH OH!! Going to be hard to keep them all under her. Don't want them to blow away!!

RL ML

Saw that too Carol. On the Decorah North one that is younger than Arconic was completely out of the bole and parent reached up and rolled it closer and finally it rolled into the bole and crawled under parent. All nests I checked were very active several feeding.

patrick corrigan princeton,il.

what seasoned parents, liberty and justice are building up the sides of the nest with thick sticks because the three stooges are getting more mobile, kind of like a toddlers crib! baby-proofing eagle style good fishing to you liberty and justice

Judith H

It looks like one of them brought in a piece of sod, left corner of the nest NV.

Finally, a sunny day, but still breezy.
