JC

Thank you Mr John...Do you know which one fell? Can their GPS tell us ?

Mavis

Mr. John, you insight makes me feel better. I've been worried all day about him. Please don't think me silly...but his tracker won't tell you anything if he is in the nest tree...but will it show you anything if he is in another tree?

It seems like we saw more flying around the nest area by L and J when Star and Sky were close to the ground. I'm thinking just maybe he is somewhere in the nest tree and never made it to te ground. I wish he would start calling out when you go out there...

My eyes are still blurry...but I had to check in anyway.

Judith H

Nice pictures Mr. John.
Perhaps Mavis will be able to spot them, her new glasses can see through the leaves.

Mavis

Dang...one more thing, IF you are still there, Mr. John..will you zoom OUT on the NV just for tonight? I don't care about seeing what food comes in tonight...would like to see more of the tree. I'll leave you alone now.

I wish, Judy!! Can't see much of anything right now..

Judith H

I thought I saw him...to the right of the tree with the black cord with several loops, to the left of the nest.

Carol C

Thanks for all the panning. I couldn't make out where he's at. A lot of leaves n the way.

Katy

Judy, that's the same area where I thought I saw him yesterday. Then I figured, I WANTED to see him, but didn't actually see him.

Thank You Mr. John, once again, Above & Beyond in your efforts.

Judith H

I did a rewind several times can't find him again. I guess I have an eaglet imprinted on my eye.
I think their body temperature is 106 degrees, if we had a thermal imaging lens might be able to find him with that body heat.

Mavis

I'm laughing so hard...thermal imaging...not a bad idea if you ask me. I think Mr. John ought to let Carol set outside tomorrow under a poop umbrella and watch for our missing baby. Katy, I need you to want to see that baby again so keep looking. I really wish we could lay eyes on him. I'm sure L or J is feeding him...just wish we knew for sure that he is ok.

I've been gone today...has food be delivered?

Carol C

Mr. John said this morning when the cams were off. But I haven't been on most the day.

Judith H

One of the parents brought in a fish and started eating it...so it must have been Justice. Then one of the kids snatched it from him, he left.

Katy

Mavis, how are your eyes now? Perhaps chew on a raw carrot, works for rabbits. They don't need eyeglasses. :)

Mavis

Mr. John did say that food was brought in this morning. I forgot about that.

Thanks, Judy. I see one of then is still working on it....the other one is on the overlook

Judith H

Then the rest of the day a few of us were looking through the trees for the imaginary eaglet.

Mavis

Thank you, Katy. Eyes are much better...not so blurry now. Funny you mentioned rabbits...my son just sent me a video he took a few mins ago of a wild rabbit nursing her babies. Taken on the dirt road to the pasture. Was so cute.

Mavis

Parent on L branch (Behind donut)...looking around.

Katy

I'll say Gemini, cause I don't know, flew from overlook to donut. As if checking on a possible snack from parent on L branch.

Mavis

Oh, Katy...the best part...he flew back from donut to overlook and I was gasping...that was close...then flew from overlook to nest...back on donut now.

Parent flew to limb in tree between donut and TP...looks like the limb swings...as I see parent rocking. Wind is picking up.

Katy

Missed that Mavis, thanks for sharing. I just closed the computer as darkness is falling and my eyes are tired from searching replay of today's panning for a wayward eaglet.

Katy

I saw no sign of him.
I shall say G'Night now and check in tomorrow AM. Good Night.

Mavis

I was just outside, Katy...the moon is so bright, it's hard to stare at it...but what is so amazing..there is a huge blue circle that completely surrounds the moon...perfect circle. I have never seen anything like that before in my life.

The moon looks full...time for me to say goodnight. The one on TP is laying down in the nest..gave up looking for brother..time for sleep.

Joyce

OMG! i DID CATCH THE VIDEO OF THE WAYWARD CHICKADEE! DROPPED LIKE A STONE. Been gone all day , busy with daughter and grandsons. Had some rain today up here on the mtn. Love the smell of wet terrain. Hope to check in tomorrow. Maybe we all need a search and rescue team. Hey, they got that climer out of the icy crevase(?). Nighty nite all, Calif. kid! (80 yrs. young)

Mavis

Joyce, hope you left Vegas in tact!! The BIG 8-0!!! I honestly laugh and clap.at the way you celebrate life!

ALMOST all of us are upset and unhappy about our missing little man. I've been starring for the last 40 minutes for any movement I can find beyond the nest. Every bug that skims across the cam lens startles me to think I spotted a wing! I keep hoping he will fly back home soon...and I keep looking. Like Mr. John said...the signs...or the lack of signs (not being found on the ground)...are good signs that he may be tucked away on a branch somewhere. Lib and Justice sticking close to the nest area,.and their lack of alarm or anxiety, are also hopeful signs. I honestly think he is OKAY!!! I just want 'our kid' home!!

JC, Hope you are enjoying your coffee with me...and some of the other early risers like Judy, Lori, Carol, Wendy, and Rat. Ellen and Katy will be up soon,

When I left the cams to come post...I saw both kids up and doing some morning 'jumpin jacks'. Think I'll go back now and see if food has been brought in. One parent was on rooftop so the other one might be out rustling up breakfast or with our missing lad.

Carol C

Good morning. Beautiful out now. I can barely see 2 on the limbs now.
Work for me today.
