Mavis

Glad you have it fixed. I saw all 3 kids at old nest yesterday at 6:08 pm EDT. One was eating a fish...pix posted on Arconic twitter feed.

Thanks for last page link, JC

Wendy

Ha! Funny, Mr. John. Maybe Star wanted to take a dip in the lake. Thanks for the update & maps.

It appears the younger kids have not been straying to far from the nest since the last maps.

JC

Thank you for the fix!!!
Mr John I feel for ya...but The Packers are my pick...just love to see Star and Sky come to Wisconsin...bet they will be back to see you in winter...

RLML

Everybody had a rest yesterday from posting. Glad to see it back up. That fish you saw being eaten yesterday was a quick feed. Parent came flying in with all 3 in close pursuit. It managed to get away before the 3rd one landed. On replay I could see that they had really followed it in . All 4 were seen in the distance to the left shortly before they arrived at the old nest. Guess they are at least seeing where their food comes from.

Katy

So Happy we're Back.

Mavis, saw you're pic at the bottom of the page. Saw Justice DELIVER the fish to the old nest. Kids on him, chased him in from the river and swarmed the fish almost before he could let go.

JC

One in the nest eating something..fish maybe...not sure how it arrived..

Katy

...All three kids at the same time. Thought it a bit odd he brought it to the old nest, but the 3 on him so close, he couldn't wait to let go AND Quick!!

Katy

So Sorry, I didn't see you're post, wouldn't have posted if I had read yours first. Sorry RL.

Kathleen Sargent

Thank you for the fix. I saw all three in the nest this morning and now two are there, probably waiting for dinner.

Mavis

Katy...double posts are absolutely ok! You and RL painted the same picture but used different strokes and colors...both were good to read. I saw one on the A-branch...and one on the old nest...but the 3rd one...it was tucked away in that 'black hole' above the Arconic logo. I would not have seen it had his wings not moved a couple of times.

Thanks, Judy. Sasse is always a must see. He is good. There were two hawks outside a few minutes ago...flying around in circles...calling out to each other. Never seen that before. Kevin calls them Tilly hawks...but they were red tails.

I checked the nest several times this morning but missed them Kathleen. Thanks for posting it.

Carol C

Mr.. John you made me lol'
Last night was fun to watch. Surprised he took the fish to the old nest. But they seem to like it up there too.
No kids around right now. It is miserable out now. Going to check on the hawklet now.

Wendy

Judy, how 'bout a spoiler? I've watched half of your first video. Will we see the hawk? Also, do you have any type of sprinkler at your barn? Maybe you heard about the fire at a boarding stable near me. Several horses were lost and now I wonder if others have some kind of setup. They're looking into the cause, which may mean it was deliberate.

Wendy

On in the nest eating something that looks like fowl. I missed the fly in assuming it was brought in by a parent.

Judith H

Am I looking at the eaglet in the nest eating in slow motion?

Wendy, That is always a worry. I did just install security cameras, I can see in each stall, the driveway and front gate, and the aisle in the barn.

Wendy

Still only one in the nest. I wonder if it made the kill on it's own!

Wendy

Not slow motion for me, but I think the one finishing dinner must be smart because I'm sure the other two are somewhere tied to a branch.

Carol C

Wendy you will see the hawk in the video. It's doing good even mantling. He's flying unlike the eaglets.
Checking re wind to see what came in.

Carol C

Dad brought in something & 2 flew in one mantled it & is now eating.

Wendy

Thanks, Carol. I was hoping the eaglet made the catch. I never saw the second one at all and missed the drop. I'll have to watch the rest of Judy's videos to see the hawk.

Judy, my son is a sprinkler engineer and we were talking about that sad fire yesterday. I know that there needs to be a certain amount of water pressure for sprinklers to work and that's probably not the only problem. My granddaughter rides and they aren't telling her about the fire because she'll be upset even though it wasn't where she rides. I'm glad you have the cams to give you peace of mind.

RLML

Carol, checked the replay and that eaglet arrival was deceptive. It looked like just one landed and then there were 2 there so they really arrived at just the same time.

Mavis

I'm pretty sure one of the kids spent the night on the horizonal branch below and to the left of the old nest. I saw him spreading his wings at dawn. Just watched him move to the right of the branch then fly to the flag pole on the old nest.

Looks to be a pretty morning in Davenport. Hope it is a good day. Good morning everyone.

Mavis

Barge going upstream. The kid on the flag pole is now gone.

Carol C

Good morning. muggy out already & 76. Suppose to be cooler but it doesn't feel like it.
Watching the hawklet was amazing! Even mantling in front
of the big eagles.work for me, Have a good day everyone!!
